About me
I was born and grew up in Loughborough, Leicestershire and began drawing and painting from an early age. I moved to Cornwall in 1990 and was inspired to take up painting seriously by the Cornish landscape. I studied Illustration at Cornwall College gaining an HNC.
I also have had a love of animals especially horses for most of my life and had a Welsh cob cross for many years. I started to do portraits of him which led to commissions from friends for pet portraits at the Livery yard where I kept him.
I lived in Cornwall for 12 years before moving to Scarborough, North Yorkshire in 2003.
Since then I have exhibited and sold paintings in local galleries and taken commissions locally and further afield with very satisfied customers.
